The Calhoun JV White Team took on the Victoria West Warriors for their second meeting at Sandcrab Stadium. The Calhoun Defense played superb holding the Warriors Offense scoreless for 4 straight quarters led by sophomore Cesar Blanco. Sandcrab defense also added a score when Radley Williams took a fumble recovery to find the endzone from 28 yards out. The Calhoun Offense had no problems moving the ball all night against the Warrior Defense. Runningback Hunter Hadley showed his deceptive speed and tough running scoring finding the endzone twice for two scores. Also scoring for the Sandcrabs was sophomore Jon Na Ta scoring late in the 4th quarter to secure the victory. The Sandcrabs improve to 2-0 versus the Warriors and 3-0 overall. In two weeks they will open up district play taking on the Wildcats of Gregory Portland looking to keep their unbeaten streak alive.
